Amazon India fee & profit calculator
Enter what you sell for and what it costs you. This works out the referral fee, the GST sitting inside that fee, TCS and shipping, and tells you what actually lands in your bank — plus the break-even click cost if you advertise the product.

Healthy marginWhat reaches your bank
Advertising this product, every click has to cost less than ₹399.96 ÷ your conversion rate. At 10% conversion that is ₹40.00 per click before you are paying to lose money.
GST 18% and TCS 0.5% are exact. The referral and shipping rates are yours to verify — Amazon publishes them at sell.amazon.in and updates them periodically.
The step most calculators miss
Amazon's fees already include 18% GST. Many calculators either ignore that or add 18% on top, and both are wrong. The GST portion has to be pulled back out of the fee — fee × 18 ÷ 118 — because if you are GST-registered you can claim it as input credit. On a ₹100 fee that is ₹15.25 you get back, and a calculator that hides it makes your margin look worse than it is.
TCS works the other way round. At 0.5% of taxable value it is not a fee at all — Amazon withholds it and deposits it against your GSTIN, and you reclaim it in your GST return. It still reduces the cash that reaches your bank in that settlement, so it is shown as its own line rather than folded into "fees".
Where an estimate stops
This calculator works from the numbers you type. Your real profit also moves with returns, promotional discounts you forgot were running, weight-slab jumps on shipping, and fees that land in a later settlement than the sale did. None of that is knowable from a form.
That gap is the whole reason SellerBlaze exists: it reconciles against your actual settlement reports rather than estimating, so the profit number is the one Amazon paid you. Profit is settlement-certified for Amazon India today.
Questions
How is GST on Amazon fees calculated?+
Amazon charges 18% GST on its fees, and the fee amount shown on your invoice already includes it. So the GST portion is extracted from the fee rather than added on top: GST = fee × 18 ÷ 118. On a ₹100 referral fee, ₹15.25 is GST and ₹84.75 is the fee itself. If you are GST-registered you can claim that ₹15.25 back as input credit, which is why it is shown separately here.
What is TCS on Amazon India sales?+
Tax Collected at Source is 0.5% of the taxable value of your sale, withheld by Amazon and deposited against your GSTIN. It is not a fee — you get it back by claiming it in your GST return. It still reduces the cash that reaches your bank in the settlement, which is why the calculator shows it as a separate line.
Why is my actual Amazon payout lower than this estimate?+
Usually returns, promotional discounts, weight-slab jumps on shipping, or fees that appear in a later settlement than the sale. A calculator can only work from what you type in. Your real settlement report carries all of it, which is the gap SellerBlaze exists to close.
What referral fee percentage should I use?+
It depends on your category and often on the price band within it — Amazon publishes the current table at sell.amazon.in/fees-and-pricing/referral-fees. Across settled orders in one live Indian account we see rates between 11% and 16%, so 13% is a reasonable starting point if you are unsure. Check your own category before relying on the number.
Is this calculator accurate?+
The arithmetic is the same code path our platform uses for settled orders — GST extraction at 18/118 and TCS at 0.5% are exact. The rates you enter are yours to verify: referral percentages change by category and Amazon updates its shipping rate card. Treat the result as a good estimate, not a settlement.
